He’s a true Romain warrior
ROMAIN GROSJEAN wants to race again in the final grand prix of the season in Abu Dhabi in nine days’ time. This is the Romain Grosjean who saw death approaching as his car split in half and turned into a fireball in Bahrain on Sunday.
The Frenchman, left, who leaves Haas at the end of the season and does not have a drive for next, has no wish for his final memory in the sport to be that horrific crash.
Even so, it will take some willpower to climb inside a Formula One car again. If the smash was a reminder of the sport’s dangers, Grosjean’s response is a reminder that the men who compete in it are different to the rest of us.
