Gather round for a serving of Christmas treats on TV

TV BOSSES are lining up a bumper feast of viewing delights as families face much of the festive season at home.

Sure to cook up a treat will be the Celebrity MasterChef Christmas Cook Off in which Strictly Come Dancing judge Craig Revel Horwood turns his hand to culinary matters alongside a host of celebrity friends.

“day job” while perhaps most eagerly awaited is the return of the much- loved The Vicar Of Dibley.

Nature lovers will be enchanted by Penguins: Meet The Family – a celebratio­n of the iconic birds, featuring all 18 species in footage from New Zealand, South Africa, the Galapagos Islands and Antarctica. Another show to delight all the family will be a new version of Cinderella, with Oscar- winning actor Olivia Colman playing the Fairy Godmother alongside Helena Bonham Carter, while Anya Taylor- Joy from The Queen’s Gambit plays Cinderella.
