Woke celebs on flights of fancy

IWONDER if those bleeding heart celebrities and Labour luvvies – whose grotesque support stopped a bunch of Jamaican murderers, rapists and other assorted criminals being deported this week – feel proud of themselves today.

These people not only stopped the deportation of a bunch of evil scumbags, they then had the brass neck to compare them to Windrush victims – which insults and degrades each and every one of those poor souls.

In the rush to look noble did these woke, virtue- signalling idiots not understand what they were doing when they signed a letter to stop the deportation of 57 convicted criminals, 50 of whom had served a total of 294 years in prison? And if they DID we must deduce that they support the rights of murderers, rapists and violent criminals above those of their devastated, and in some cases, dead victims – which is sickening. Just so you know what celebs I’m talking about – it’s Naomi Campbell, Thandie Newton, James Bond actress Naomie Harris, David Olusoga together with a motley crew of MPs ( Diane Abbott obviously) who all signed a letter demanding that none of the offenders be deported. Presumably they saw this as a “race issue” and couldn’t wait to throw themselves onto the bandwagon.

Priti Patel has publicly expressed outrage at the fight by MPs and celebrities to keep these criminals in the UK.

And she points out that by daring to conflate the victims of Windrush with these vile no- marks it’s not just upsetting, it’s “deeply offensive”.

The Windrush generation made an incalculable contribution to this country and in return for their loyalty and hard work they were treated appallingly by successive governments. These Jamaican criminals, none of whom are British, have contributed nothing other than death, pain and lawlessness.

I get why Naomi Campbell latched onto this particular cause – she’s an ill- informed idiot who’s been on the wrong side of the law many times herself ( convicted of assault four times and accused of it 11 times) and she obviously thinks she needs to align herself to race issues to redeem her reputation.

But what about Thandie Newton and Naomie Harris? What’s their excuse? You’d think these smart women would be on the side of the victims rather than the scum who committed these terrible crimes. But now thanks to their actions only 13 of those 57 criminals were eventually deported and many of those allowed to stay will be back on the streets – hunting more people to harm.

Is it because these people are Jamaican and Newton, Harris, Campbell et al foolishly believe any convicted criminal with a dark skin is a victim of racism? Are they really that stupid? And I’m wondering why, for them, the human rights of killers and rapists are more important than that of their victims and the safety of the British people?

Priti Patel is right to throw out convicted criminals not born here. As she says, living in Britain is a privilege not a right. Abuse that privilege and you’re out. But our broken asylum system makes it increasingly difficult to throw them out and allows luvvie Labour MPs and slimy lawyers to stop the deportation of all manner of trash ( making shedloads of money in the process) by making spurious claims about their mental health and their blood pressure.

It’s this kind of outrage that makes decent hard- working people lose faith and it’s why Priti MUST close the loopholes that allow hardened criminals to stay here. She must also make it impossible for killers and rapists to claim asylum.

And when she does she will have the support of all right- minded British people who don’t give a damn about the human rights of killers and rapists!

LATEST Covid insanity from the Government – people who get the vaccine will still have to self- isolate for 14 days if they’re contacted by the NHS Test and Trace. SO WHAT’S THE BLOODY POINT OF THE VACCINE THEN?

MARTINE McCutcheon reckons she’s never watched the film Love Actually, “only snippets of it,” she says. “I turn over when my bits are on.” Yeah right! What actress, especially one who does very little these days, hasn’t watched a hit film in which she starred? I don’t buy it. I suspect Martine’s watched it dozens of times reliving the glory days which are now long gone.
