’ Tis the season to be Holly... as Covid- safe Cinders
Buttons up... co- host Phil
HOLLY Willoughby is the picture- perfect beauty in blue as she sparkles with presenter pals in a Covid- era Cinderella romp.
Dedicating their performance to EastEnders star Barbara Windsor, who died on Thursday aged 83, This Morning’s Holly, 39, was transformed into Cinders yesterday, with Phillip Schofield, 58, as Buttons.
On the way to Prince Charming’s socially distanced ball, the pair turned to Tinkerbell, played by Lisa Snowdon, 48, for help, and Jack and the Beanstalk, played by Steve Wilson, 46. Alison Hammond, 45, was “key worker Fairy Godmother” and Ab Fab’s Joanna Lumley, 74, the wicked stepmother.
Joanna said the tongue- in- cheek innuendo filled panto was a tribute to the pandemic- hit theatre world.
Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford will front the ITV show from Monday and Phil and Holly will return on Christmas Day.
