IN A fatuous effort to prove how woke and politically correct they are, the idiots running Birmingham City council have decided to name streets on a new housing estate Diversity Close, Equality Road, Humanity Close. But Instead of patting themselves on the back with all this virtue- signalling nonsense the council might like to look at those streets in their crimeridden borough where they’ve left 4,575 abandoned council homes to rot. This at a time they’re paying £ 33million ( of taxpayers’ cash) to house 3,291 families currently living in hostels and B& Bs. So, instead of faffing around with stupid street names, why don’t they do something useful – like housing their homeless!
