It’s the Blair rich project

-

SO good to see all those lovely socialist principles of The Blair Dynasty on show this week. The family, now worth way in excess of £100million, were celebrating the fact Euan Blair’s 46 per cent stake in the Multiverse company is worth £73million. And that would make him richer than dad Tony, who an investigation in 2015 revealed was worth a mere £60million. And then there’s barrister and property magnate, Cherie, who hit the headlines when her husband was PM by doing property deals with dodgy conman Peter Foster.

The Blairs’ particular socialist principle seems to be: “Yes, we feel terribly sorry for all you poor people and will do what we can when we can, but our personal aim is to get filthy, stinking rich.”

And by God they have...

I couldn’t believe my eyes when I saw Romeo Beckham posing on the cover of a men’s magazine this week. The 18-year-old is the spitting image of his mum – sulky pout and all. Why is it that with all the money and advantages the Beckham kids have, the only career they seem to aspire to is that of a model? Still, with a mum who’s turned vanity and self-promotion into an art form, what else were they going to do?

The notoriously extravagant Charles and Camilla are advertising for an assistant diary manager. Not an actual diary manager, mind you, who presumably enters their engagements into a big book, but an assistant to that person.

OK, call me petty but we’re in lockdown – how busy can they be? And even if they are, do they really need TWO people to run a diary – virtual or actual. Most company CEOs manage with a single secretary. But Charles and Camilla have more than 200 staff between them, which include principal private secretaries, private secretaries, deputy private secretaries, assistant private secretaries. Couldn’t one of those help the diary manager? Just asking…
