Davina twerks her way to top of TV tree
DAVINA McCall looks top of the hip parade as she twerks with fellow Masked Singer panellist Jonathan Ross.
So it’s no surprise that she’s now the most in-demand woman on TV.
Davina, 53, has notched up the most screen time across all TV channels, along with Dancing On Ice and This Morning hostess Holly Willoughby, 39, and The One Show’s Alex Jones, 43.
Davina, who fronts ITV’s The Masked Singer and Long Lost Family, will also host Channel 4’s Changing Rooms reboot.
And TV bosses can’t wait to tie her to more shows.
A source said: “It’s incredible that 20 years since she made a name for herself on Big Brother, she is as sought-after as ever. Doing a shiny floor, entertainment show such as The Masked singer and then Long Lost Family really highlights her versatility and means she can turn her hand to any genre.
“It’s little wonder she is so in demand. ITV in particular want to ensure their partnership continues to shine.”
More than seven million viewers have tuned into The Masked Singer and ITV bosses are delighted by the critical success of Long Lost Family.
The insider said: “It’s a show which already packs an emotional punch but Davina and Nicky Campbell lift it to another level.”
Superfit Davina is also raking it in with her subscription online exercise channel, Own Your Own Goals.
Despite not releasing a DVD in three years, hers still feature regularly in the top 10 charts.
