Stoic Boris has saved many lives
THE front page of the Daily Express yesterday brought a great sadness to hear that Boris Johnson feels deeply responsible for every life lost in the pandemic (“I’m deeply sorry for every life lost”, January 27).
He should consider the lives he saved by his guidance and for also trying hard to save the NHS from coming under too much pressure.
Always in hindsight there are different paths which could have been taken but I defy anyone to come up with the complete answers to fight this hidden foe. Boris must be as devastated as the population he governs, particularly in relation to his own family.
Hopefully Boris will find a way to harness his strength and carry us through.
