‘Cricket has race issues’
EVERY professional cricketer in England will be required to undergo anti-discrimination education following a damning survey on racism in the game.
The Professional Cricketers’ Association and the ECB are working together on equality, diversity and inclusion after a game-wide survey of players was ignored by more than 400 of the 600 it was sent to.
“The game has an issue we need to address here,” said PCA chief executive Rob Lynch. “Education is the obvious first step in our approach.”
