‘She’s Miss Moanalot’
NICOLA Sturgeon was nicknamed “Moanalot” after she whinged about the Prime Minister making a visit to Scotland to visit a vaccine factory yesterday.
The Scottish nationalist attacked Boris Johnson for travelling north of the border during lockdown, claiming it was “not essential” travel.
In Parliament, SNP MP Tommy Sheppard accused Mr Johnson of undermining the public health message to stay at home.
He said: “The Prime Minister is more than capable of patronising us from his office in Whitehall.
“So what is so essential about his thousand mile round trip to Livingston?”
Commons leader Jacob Rees-Mogg insisted the PM’s visit is “something we should be proud of as a nation”.
He added: “I used to think that Moanalot was a fictional character, but it turns out it’s actually the First Minister of Scotland.”
