Bomb scare man arrest

A MAN has been arrested after a factory bomb scare halted production of the Covid vaccine.

Army bomb disposal experts were scrambled to theWockhardt plant in Wrexham, North Wales, after a “suspicious package” was found.

A man, 53, was arrested in Chatham, Kent, over Wednesday’s incident. He remains in custody.

The company said it would not delay production of the Oxford-AstraZeneca jab.
