Call of duty to Scotland
IT WOULD be a dereliction of duty for a UK Prime Minister not to visit Scotland at the height of a pandemic. First Minister Nicola Sturgeon’s criticism of Boris Johnson’s visit is as churlish as her pursuit of independence is foolish.
The disintegration of the UK will not help deprived families in Glasgow or Edinburgh, and Scotland has so much to gain as global trading opportunities for the whole country are unlocked.
