‘Aleks is vital to survival’
SCOTT PARKER has backed Aleksandar Mitrovic to score the goals to keep Fulham in the Premier League.
The Cottagers manager is resigned to not signing a new striker this month.
And while Mitrovic was expected to be key to Fulham’s survival hopes, the Serbian has spent most of the time on the bench, having scored only two Premier League goals back in September.
“We have one recognised striker in Aleks,” said Parker.
“It’s fair to say Aleks, at the start of the season, struggled a bit and had a dip in form.
“I have no doubt he’s going to be vital for us. Of course, I want to see the best Aleksandar Mitrovic because I know if we do we’ll be successful.”
