OLLIE WATKINS admits Aston Villa must learn to win “ugly” to push back up the Premier League.

Dean Smith’s side threw away the lead twice to lose 3-2 at Burnley on Wednesday.

The defeat left Villa 10th, despite Jamie Carragher tipping them to challenge for the top four.

Striker Watkins, Villa’s record £28million signing, said: “It was tough to lose. We should have seen it out.

“We should slow the game down and play ugly, but I don’t think we did that.”
