France bans non-EU visits
FRANCE will close its borders to all non-EU countries from tomorow, to avoid a third lockdown.
Prime Minister Jean Castex said although the Covid variants first detected in Britain and South Africa posed a dangerous risk, another lockdown could still be avoided. Instead, he said
France would toughen Covid controls at borders, reduce the number allowed in shopping malls and step up police action against people breaking the nightly curfews.
