Dad jailed for Porsche cop chase

A FATHER-of-11 has been jailed for speeding in his Porsche at 133mph during a 25-minute car chase with police.

Nathan Gardner, who appeared on TV show Extraordinary Pregnancies, was on a night out with a friend when he drove fast through red lights in Littlehampton, West Sussex, on August 23.

Police were forced to use a stop stick to puncture the tyres but he refused to take a breath and drug test when finally caught.

Hove Crown Court heard Gardner, 43, from Worthing, West Sussex, had 15 previous convictions for 35 offences, including careless driving, failing to provide a breath test and driving while banned.

Judge Mooney said the widower, who has sole custody of his children, had “compounded stupidity with stupidity” after fleeing police.

He was jailed for 10 months and was banned from driving for three years.
