IT’S ALL GREEK...
One of our favourite Greek Islands, Crete will see the opening of CAYO Exclusive Resort and Spa on April 29.
Sitting on pretty Elounda Bay, it’s contemporary in design, with low-rise cube buildings stepped up the hillside. Overlooking Spinalonga island, it even has its own private beach.
Each white and pale grey room comes with a private terrace and heated plunge pool. And with a heavy focus on the environment, guests are given a seedling that they can plant anywhere around the resort.
Menus at the four restaurants will be created by Greece’s only Michelin star chef and feature a farm-to-fork ethos, with fresh produce sourced from local eco-friendly establishments. Ancient rituals will be on offer in the spa as well as yoga, Pilates and detox therapies.
