DEBUT TO DROUGHT
SPURS 7.15PM TOMORROW
AARON CONNOLLY has learned the reality of the top flight since his “fantastic first impression” against Tottenham last season, according to Graham Potter.
The Republic of Ireland striker has scored only three times since his first two top-flight goals on his full Premier League debut.
But Brighton boss Potter insisted Connolly, 21, has a big part to play in his team’s season.
“He is a young player. He has to learn about disappointments and setbacks and all those things that are part of establishing yourself as a Premier League forward.”
