WILDER SEEKS SAVAGE CLUE ON CITY EXPRESS

CHRIS WILDER joked he has not a clue how to stop Manchester City’s juggernaut today.

City have flattened everyone in their path to rack up 11 straight wins in all competitions.

Sheffield United boss Wilder said: “Robbie Savage was doing the BT coverage of West Brom and the commentator said, ‘If Chris Wilder is watching this, how does he stop Man City?’. Robbie said, ‘He’ll come up with a plan’. I was chuckling to myself and I texted him and said, ‘Rob, I haven’t a clue how to stop this side’.

“We’ll try to muster something up.”

The Blades are boosted by Wednesday’s win at Manchester United and Wilder said: “It can’t be a one-off if we want to make it uncomfortable for the teams above us.”
