Stop moaning and start living

LET’S talk about lockdown. I am absolutely amazed at the amount of so-called libertarians who think lockdown is an imposition on their freedom. I’ve never heard so much rubbish.

Let me just say, we are absolute idiots if we don’t follow lockdown procedures, which I think should be more stringent. And we should have completely closed our borders a lot earlier on.

As one who doesn’t have an enormous amount of time left, I would like to get out of lockdown as soon as possible.

So all of you who keep moaning about how liberties are being taken away, just listen to yourselves. You will have no liberties if this gets worse.

The sooner we comply, the sooner we can get out and get on with our lives.

I can’t believe the stupidity of the young people demonstrating in Holland. Perhaps they are just not as clever as the rest of us

– or should I say some of us, because there seem to be quite a few people who agree with them.

Get over yourselves. There is no conspiracy theory, no new world order and you’re living in La La Land.

THE most popular subject on my Talk Radio show over the last week has been Scottish independence. The interesting thing is that 80 per cent of the calls are from Scots who don’t want to leave the United Kingdom.

I have no idea why the polls show differently.

Whatever their First Minister little Jimmy Krankie thinks, Scottish independence will never happen. There is no way the economy of a country of five million people could be viable. Also, Nicola Sturgeon reckons they will re-join the EU. That’s just a laugh – the EU won’t want them. Spain will veto it every time because of the problems they have with Catalonia, which also demands independence.

What a waste of money, time and effort this whole idea of independence is. If anybody could put up a good argument I’d like to hear it.
