Track down these idiots who will not wear masks

IT SEEMS some Blackpool residents have utter contempt for their own town, the law and the resort’s iconic trams.

Travelling home after getting my jab, I was appalled that three of the other four passengers weren’t wearing face masks. Prominent signs advised they could be purchased from the conductor for £1.There was nothing to indicate the men warranted exemption, one of them tossing aside a cigarette before boarding.

They weren’t challenged by the conductor, understandable considering he could have feared being abused. Such flagrant abuse suggests tough action is called for from Blackpool Council to keep passengers on the right track.
