Worst case scenarios ‘starting to happen’

THE UK is already facing “worst case scenarios” when it comes to climate change, says the Environment Agency’s boss.

Sir James Bevan added: “The climate emergency is the unseen pandemic, because left unchecked it will kill more people, and do much more harm, than Covid-19.

“That’s why the Express’s Green Britain campaign is so vital.”

Sir James will today deliver a hard-hitting speech to the Association of British Insurers.
