- By Giles Sheldrick

CARE UK:

Visits to homes will be allowed unless there is an outbreak. To start with they will be up to 30 minutes to ensure appropriate cleaning and hygiene is in place. It will also help to guarantee all families have a chance to visit. They will allow one named visitor in England and two designated in Scotland, visiting at different times.

BUPA:

It will introduce indoor visits for one nominated visitor per resident, once a week for about an hour, though these will be managed on an individual basis with residents and families.

MHA:

Will continue facilitating visits, except when there is an outbreak at a care home, using either pods outside, booths or substantial screens inside and extend enhanced visits through its “more than just a visitor scheme”. Closer contact visits are available in exceptional circumstances such as end-of-life care. It will also implement the “single-named visitor” arrangements for every resident.

HC-ONE:

Ready for visiting to resume and is welcoming loved ones back into care homes in line with the Government’s latest guidance.

FOUR SEASONS:

It is providing indoor, face-to-face visits with close contact. These will be 30 minutes and weekly at first to enable as many as possible to take place, with the aim of increasing times based on the volume of appointments.

BARCHESTER:

Its aim is that every resident will have a visit at least once per week for at least 30 minutes within government safety guidelines.
