A man of his word and an honest hero
YOUR excellent editorial on the death of Prince Philip speaks for us all (“A Prince among men, an icon and an inspiration”, April 10).
The Duke of Edinburgh devoted his life to service and supporting the Queen.
And we all know he was also a stalwart ambassador for our country.
But for me he was a man who always said what he meant and meant what he said.
This is one man who didn’t have a woke bone in his body or a politically-correct thought in his head, and provided us all with a refreshing link to the values of the past.
I’m afraid that they broke the mould after Prince Philip.
