BACK STRAIN FOR ZIDANE

REAL MADRID face a defensive crisis for their clash with Liverpool after right-back Lucas Vazquez was ruled out of the rest of the season.

Scans yesterday revealed the defender suffered a cruciate knee injury during the Spanish side’s 2-1 win over Barcelona on Saturday.

First-choice right-back Dani Carvajal is already out while manager Zinedine Zidane is also without centre-backs Sergio Ramos and Raphael Varane.
