A merry dance... thrilled Strictly stars are back!
IT’S an occasion worthy of black tie as Strictly’s Aljaz Skorjanec and Nadiya Bychkova reunite for a new stage show. The pair grabbed their finery to team up with their old pals from the BBC hit for Here Come The Boys at the London Palladium.
Nadiya, 31, is a special guest star on the production which opened in the West End last night. Billed as a “showstopping extravaganza”, it sees the male stars go head-to-head in a battle of dance disciplines – and the audience play judge.
Aljaz, 31, said: “I can’t wait to battle it out with these boys – there can only be one King of the Dance! It’s going to be bigger and better and I can’t wait.”
The Slovenian, who is married to US professional Janette Manrara, is joined by Graziano Di Prima and old Strictly favourites Robin Windsor and Pasha Kovalev. Former celebrity contestant Karim Zeroual also returns to take on the experts.
The group posed outside the theatre on Argyll Street in Soho dressed in black tuxedos while Nadiya went for a very little black dress and fishnets.
Pasha, the husband of Countdown star and former Strictly partner Rachel Riley, joined the dance-off two years after leaving Strictly.
The Russian, 41, competed in four finals and lifted the Glitterball with the late Caroline Flack in 2014.
Children’s TV presenter Karim, 27, made the 2019 final with Amy Dowden in the series won by Emmerdale star Kelvin Fletcher and Oti Mabuse.
● Here Come The Boys runs at the London Palladium until June 9.
