THIS terrified duck is snatched into the sky as the intended meal of a hungry owl.
The snowy owl gripped its hefty prey which wriggled and bit its captor to let go. But the owl couldn’t hold on and dropped it from around 7ft.
Stephen Shea captured the scene in snowy Maine, in the US. He said: “I felt elated...it was such a difficult day to capture anything clearly.”
