Manufacturers have to do more to help us recycle
ALL strength to Ali Chaney in her quest to recycle more rubbish that is normally sent to landfill and thanks for printing her helpful Dos and Don’ts (“Super recycler turns trash into treasure”, May 24).
However I frequently feel frustrated by the difficulty of reading the recycling symbols, if any, on plastic items and packaging.
Why do manufacturers not make more effort to make these symbols more legible?
