Panto giant at the crossroads

our largest panto producer, has been bought by Crossroads Live, the US private equity-backed maker of musical theatre shows.

The regional operator will become Crossroads Pantomimes. Qdos founder and chair Nick Thomas will be replaced by the chairman of Crossroads’ theatrical group, David Ian. Qdos managing director Michael Harrison will step up to become chief executive.

Mr Ian said he wanted to create something very special for UK theatre “whilst staying true to the great tradition of British pantomime”.
