Tromso set to be in the Sheikh-up
ANDREA ATZENI can make the trip from Newmarket to Beverley worthwhile by partnering TROMSO (3.20, nap) to victory for his boss Sheikh Obaid.
Atzeni, right, partnered Tromso to finish a promising third behind Raadobarg at Leicester last month. Raadobarg then enhanced that form by winning his next two starts in the manner of a smart individual.
That was a big improvement from Tromso, as betting suggested the 16-1 chance was not fancied.
There will be plenty of support for Dancing To Win on account of the filly finishing runner-up on three occasions, but those defeats have been in moderate company and Tromso makes more appeal.
A change of stable and gelding operation could see HIGHER KINGDOM (2.20, nb) return to winning form.
The four-year-old gave connections plenty of encouragement when third behind Moretti on his recent start at Newcastle and runs off the same mark today.
After failing to fire on her recent start, VEREAUX EAGLE (6.20, treble) can redeem herself at Wolverhampton. On her penultimate start the daughter of Free Eagle ran a cracker behind Bellosa at Newmarket last month.
