CZECHS WAIT FOR RACE ROW KUDELA
CZECH REPUBLIC coach Jaroslav Silhavy has left one spot open in his Euro 2020 squad for Slavia Prague defender Ondrej Kudela, below.
He is appealing a 10-match ban for racism in a Europa League match.
England face the Czechs in their final group game and Silhavy said the
June 1 deadline for squads gave him leeway to await
Kudela’s appeal. He said: “There’s probably not much hope but we don’t want to close the door.” Rangers’ Glen Kamara complained of being racially abused by Kudela in their last-16 clash in March. Kudela denies the allegation. Silhavy has dropped former captain Borek Dockal and opted for youth – including 18-year-old Adam Hlozek.
