Visionary UK leaves EU in the shade on world stage

WHAT a contrast between the UK’s outward looking vision and harmony with the G7 nations ranging from worldwide Covid vaccine support, climate change and international security, and the EU’s priorities – sausages (“Tensions with Brussels rise in the NI sausage war”, June 11).

No wonder there is widespread and increasing discontent within many EU countries (“EU broken say its citizens”, June 11).

Sausages seem to be more important to EU plutocrats than rectifying their shambolic Covid-19 vaccination programme.
