Scrap all foreign aid and spend billions on police

THERE is a crime epidemic in the UK, the likes of which we have never seen before. Guns, knives and machetes are everywhere.We should scrap the foreign aid budget completely and use the money to flood our streets with police officers (“Tory MP: Foreign aid rebels ‘are demented’”, June 8).

Many of those we have now are only interested in politically correct crime and sit on their backsides looking for offensive words people have used on the internet.
