Moaning about Boris’s G7 flight is just plane stupid
THE G7 meeting of world leaders had climate change on the agenda yet the climatologists couldn’t resist getting into the debate with a dubious contribution (“PM: Biden is a breath of fresh air!”, June 11).
They attacked Boris Johnson’s journey of around 300 miles to Cornwall because he flew there.
A journey by road would have taken five to six hours down roads such as the A30 with a fleet of security vehicles as opposed to a convenient one-hour flight.
Was Boris expected to ride a bicycle to Cornwall?
