‘Cannibal horror’ of 17 victims

POLICE have found 3,787 bone fragments under the home of a suspected cannibal killer.

They believe the 72-year-old butcher, known only as Andres, may have “filleted” at least 17 victims.

The accused has so far admitted to peeling off the skin of one victim’s face because he thought she was “very pretty”.

Andres made the horrific confession during a four-hour hearing in Mexico City, where he was charged with killing the wife of a serving police officer.

But investigators digging under his house found bone fragments belonging to 17 victims.

They now face the grim task of piecing together the remains.

Identity cards and other possessions from people who disappeared years ago were found at the rubbish-filled home.

The accused is to stand trial for the killing of a 34-year-old woman whose body he allegedly dismembered with a hacksaw and knives.
