David’s Del-ighted to meet young fan
DAVID Jason was happy to meet new fans and be reunited with old friends for his first stage performance since lockdown.
The Only Fools And Horses favourite appeared in a star-studded reading of radio play A Cold Supper Behind Harrods, which was streamed live from Oxford Playhouse.
Sir David, 81, performed alongside Game Of Thrones star Anton Lesser, 69, and
Corrie actress Stephanie Cole, inset. The 79-year-old has also appeared with Sir David in sitcom Open All Hours and its sequel.
Sir David – best known for playing trader Del Boy Trotter in TV’s Only Fools – was thrilled as a waiting young fan handed him a gift, so he gave the aspiring actress some career advice. The show also reunited him with Darling Buds Of May co-star Philip Franks, who directed it.
