First isle crossing by Skye-wire daredevil

THIS cool daredevil has become the first person to complete a death-defying high-wire walk on Skye.

Alex Schulz kept his nerve to slackline from the island’s West Skye cliffs to its MacLeod’s Maidens rock stacks, 250ft above the sea.

While onlookers might have been green around the gills seeing his stunt, the German adrenaline junkie made the feat environmen­tally friendly.
