Take the knee during our national anthem instead

IF AT sporting events the participants choose to take the knee (“The woke warriors spread their own kind of prejudice”, June 14), wouldn’t it be more appropriate to do so to the national anthem, to

show that they represent the flag under which they play and are so proud to represent, and not as a political movement of dubious intent?
