World’s prayers answered as Eriksen pulls through

THE world held its breath as Christian Eriksen collapsed during his country’s Euro 2020 game against Finland (“Denmark’s Eriksen suffered cardiac arrest, says team doc”, June 14).

The former Tottenham star was actually “gone” for a few minutes but, thanks to the quick thinking of team-mates and medical staff, he was revived and taken to hospital.We all wish the best for the player and his family.
