Reliving ‘unforgetta­ble’ Blues joy is Jorginho’s Italy dream

JORGINHO says lifting the Champions League with Chelsea has made him want to win Euro 2020 even more.

The midfielder loved the feeling of his club side being crowned kings of Europe in Porto last month and he is keen to experience it again with Italy.

“Winning the Champions League was a wonderful experience, one I will never forget,” said Jorginho.

“I felt certain wonderful emotions in my bones and I want to relive them in the blue shirt of Italy, with this group of fantastic guys.” The Azzurri are aiming to build on their fine Euro 2020 start when they meet Switzerlan­d in Rome’s Olympic Stadium tomorrow.

Jorginho joked his passing may often be seen as “dull”.

“I believe communicat­ion is very important and playing in midfield means I can see how the game develops. “I try to give as much informatio­n as possible to my teammates so they can do better.”
