AUSTRIA forward Marko Arnautovic has apologised for his angry reaction towards North Macedonia supporters after his late goal in Sunday’s 3-1 win.

Some reports claimed the 32-year-old’s anger was also fired at the opposition’s Egzon Bejtulai and Gjanni Alioski, both of Albanian heritage.There is historic tension between Serbia and North Macedonia, and former Stoke andWest Ham star Arnautovic, left, is of Serbian background.

He said on Instagram: “I would like to apologise – especially to my friends from North Macedonia and Albania. I am not a racist. I have friends in almost every country.”
