FOCUS ON FACTUAL DATA NOT PREDICTIONS BORIS... AND GET THE COUNTRY OPEN AGAIN

-

HOW many times is Boris going to be led by the nose by doom-mongering SAGE scientists whose predictions of catastrophe are invariably wrong and are keeping this country locked down when it shouldn’t be?

This week we learned that Freedom Day was pushed back after spine chilling predictions from Imperial College (yep, Neil Ferguson – The Man Who Gets Next to

Nothing Right was involved) that there’d be more than 203,824 deaths by next June.

It was entirely exaggerated and based on old data. The revised estimate based on real world data from Public Health England which looked at the vaccine’s effectiveness, says it’s likely to be around 26,854.

How can supposedly clever scientists make – and keep making – basic mistakes like this?

Is it that they just can’t be bothered to source the latest info? Or is their mission Zero Covid which means they’ll bombard Boris with any old alarmist toffee to make sure we stay locked down till that happens?

Well, forget what they think because it’s thanks to them this Government has lost its ability to balance risk. But life is all about risks and it’s time now for Boris to facedown the (small) risk and reopen Britain for business. He also needs to stop fixating on just one illness because currently there are scores of others claiming many more lives than Covid.

Thanks to this new info from PHE it’s looking like we might get to open up two weeks early – on July 5. Boris needs to locate his cahones – and make sure it happens.
