Turn on to Mrs Brown for some shocking fun

-

I WAS chatting to somebody the other day about my late-night television show in the 90s – some of you may remember it – and the conversation was along the lines that what we did then would never be allowed on television again.

But thinking about it recently, I came to the conclusion that it wasn’t that bad at all. Look at Big Brother, which is apparently coming back. I have to confess I managed four weeks in the Big Brother house myself.

And nowadays there’s a programme that you may not have seen because I’m sure you are far too proper, Naked Attraction. Far more shocking than anything I ever did.

And we have Love Island, one of the most successful shows amongst younger people on the TV. The big problem is that the woke community seem to have infiltrated comedy, so all you get is a pile of left-wing rubbish.

I very seldom say anything good about the BBC but at least they have the guts to show Mrs Brown’s Boys, above, which I love, though some find it a little shocking. So maybe the PC brigade are not getting it all their own way.
