Stalker is linked to murder of Gracie
POLICE investigating the murder of a young horsewoman found critically injured in a field are probing claims she was being stalked, it was reported yesterday.
A friend of part-time model Gracie Spinks, 23, said she had recently got a restraining order against a “weird man”.
Ms Spinks, 23, was found seriously wounded near the village of Duckmanton, Derbyshire, on Friday morning. Paramedics were unable to save her.
Just over two hours later, the body of a man in his 30s was found in a separate field nearby.
Derbyshire Police said they were linking the two deaths and were not looking for anyone else.
One unnamed friend claimed Ms Spinks had been bothered recently by “a weird man who was totally obsessed with her. He kept turning up at the stables. He was infatuated.”
