Good Gogh...it’s a Young Master
AN ARTIST who has brought out the inner Van Gogh in toddlers is showcasing 500 of their little masterpieces.
Yangyang Hou, 38, right, showed her daughter Marie, three, how to copy impressionist and other works during the Christmas lockdown.
Soon Yangyang’s friends and their children were keen to join her 40-minute Zoom class.
Their versions of the likes of Van Gogh, Monet, David Hockney, Cezanne and Gaughin can be seen at the Artists in Lockdown exhibition in South Kensington, London, on Sunday.
Londoner Yangyang, 38, said: “I thought we should do some quality things, not just colouring in Peppa Pig.
“Three-year-olds understand much more than you think. “Who knows, maybe we have inspired the next Monet or Van Gogh.”
