20,000 ticketless Scotland fans score huge own goal

I HAVE always considered fanatical football fans a bit lacking in the brains department and now I am absolutely certain I am right (“Scotland fans invade Hyde Park in kilts and set off flares as they defy ‘no-go’ area snub”, June 18).

For instance, the 20,000 Scotland fans without tickets who spent money to travel to London just because their team was playing England atWembley at Euro 2020.

What fools they are, risking the spread of Covid and being locked up and not being able to see the game they are so passionate about.
