Tourists? Rich ones welcome

THERE’S a great deal of whinging about the extortionate costs being charged for British holiday homes this summer, with a three bedroom house in St Ives asking for over £10,000 a night. As I was going to St Ives, I met a man… who was very disgruntled indeed. Cornwall is a stunning county, and I can’t wait to visit again, but not so long ago they were a tad negative about the idea of incomers from the Big Smoke. Now there seems to have been something of a turnaround. Amazing what a few thousand smackeroos will do!
