RUPERT AND THE BIG BANG No 1

After school one day, Rupert is chatting with his pals Bill Badger and Algy Pug. “I say, look over there,” says Bill. “Why is the schoolmaster patting Bingo on the head like that?” All three feel themselves getting jealous. Although they’ve spoken quietly, the master comes over to the little group. “I heard what you said and I’m surprised,” he says. “Bingo is learning science. I wish you would help him.”
