The final instalment of the thriller about a couple who relocate to Australia and hire a nanny who is not the innocent stranger she pretends to be. Becky helps Anna set up an apartment where she is safe from Jake, and on the day Anna is due to move out and take the kids, she asks Becky to stay at home with Jake. Events then take yet another shocking turn for the worse. Starring Charlie Brooks (left) as Anna, Phoebe Roberts, Brett Tucker and Caroline Gillmer.

Chelsea (Zaraah Abrahams, left) and Gray (TobyAlexan­der Smith, right) get into a spot of bother when they cause havoc at his work function as they decide to make the most of the free drinks, embarrassi­ng themselves in front of Gray’s boss Laura. Elsewhere, Honey reaches out to a grief-stricken Suki. Sheree meanwhile gives Lola a word of warning and Jay offers Billy an olive branch for the future.

Documentar­y: Our NHS: A Hidden History, BBC1, 9pm

David Olusoga (far left) explores the history of the nurses, doctors and health workers who, for more than 70 years, have been arriving from overseas to serve in the NHS. Without them it would have been in danger of collapse – not least during the Covid-19 crisis. The story of this institutio­n has been intertwine­d with one of the most divisive social issues of the age – immigratio­n – and those who came to work in the NHS have found themselves fighting hostility. But as Olusoga reveals their stories it reveals plenty about dedication in the face of prejudice. With contributi­ons from Louise Garvey and Tryphena Anderson (pictured with David).

A double helping of tense drama from the Yorkshire Dales as the jury reaches its verdict in Jimmy’s trial. Meanwhile, Mandy fights her feelings and Meena is thrilled. In tonight’s second episode, Jimmy and Nicola may have reached the end of the road. Elsewhere in the village, Nicola’s anger gets the better of her and boils over and April (Amelia Flanagan, above right) experience­s a backlash online.

Film: The Importance Of Being Earnest, BBC4, 8pm

Period comedy drama based on Oscar Wilde’s play, starring Rupert Everett and Colin Firth (right, with co-star Frances O’Connor). Landowner Jack Worthing has invented a younger brother called “Ernest” so he can escape his sober existence once in a while to visit his best friend Algernon and live the high life in London. Algernon, meanwhile, his curiosity roused by Jack’s stories about his ward, Cecily, sets off for Shropshire as “Ernest” to meet the young lady.
