FETCH the smelling salts! Actor Jonathan Bailey is spotted filming as Anthony Bridgerton after two positive Covid tests halted production of the TV smash.
Jonathan was trussed up in a navy double-breasted jacket, beige breeches and top hat in Windsor Great Park.
The 33-year-old’s dashing Regency outfit was set off with a thoroughly modern accessory – a perspex screen to keep the virus at bay.
Shooting had been on hold following the Covid setback. Fans were heartened when show creator Chris Van Dusen, 61, said online: “We are back under way.
“We had to delay because of Covid but we’re back in it.
“Right now I’m in post, editing our first couple of episodes, which are looking great.”
Viscount Anthony is the main focus of the second series on Netflix, following his quest for love – and an heir. He may have found a match with headstrong newcomer Kate Sharma, played by Simone Ashley, 26. Other fresh faces include Kate’s mother Mary (Shelley Conn) and the debonair Jack (Rupert Young). Bridgerton, which is produced by Grey’s Anatomy and Scandal mastermind Shonda Rhimes, is based on a novel series by US writer Julia Quinn. The first series followed book one The Duke and I. The new ones is based on book two, The Viscount Who Loved Me.
